Thegoal of the course is to help students recognize, define, and understand core issues in criminnal justice. Upon completion of this course, students should be able 1) to acquire an informed understanding of the basic concepts in criminal justice system; 2) to examine the historical evolution of criminological theory; 3) to examine the cause of criminal behavior; 4) to understand crimin al justice system such as police, courtand correction.
